TRAMAC STATIONARY ROCK BREAKING BOOMS

When it comes to increased production and safety in and around your primary crusher, Tramac has a solution to suit any job or application. Our engineers and specialists will gladly study your situation and work together with you to find the most economical and reliable Rock Breaker Boom to fit your plant. Whether your job involves a portable plant for construction aggregate or a massive mining boom with a modern and powerful hammer, Tramac will assemble a system that can handle your toughest needs and keep running for years beyond your expectations.

TSH SERIES ROCK BREAKER SYSTEMS:
With the TSH Series you will benefit from unmatched reliability. These units are the result of careful study and testing. TSH Boom Systems are well suited for a wide variety of crushed stone operations, processing limestone and any medium hard rock. They readily support hammers weighing up through 2500 lbs. (1150 kg). Booms of the TSH Series are optimally configured when matched with a 2,000 ft.lbs impact class breaker.

CDB SERIES ROCK BREAKER SYSTEMS:
This series is designed for the needs of the construction aggregate and hard rock mining industries. CDB units are optimally configured when matched with a 3,000 ft.lbs (4,070 Joules) impact class breaker. Configured as such these units will excel when breaking material with compressive strength in the range of 15,000 to 20,000 psi (100 – 140 mpa).

CDB HD SERIES:
These are Rock Breakers for mines and high production quarries. They are optimally configured when fitted with a hammer weighing up through 3,530 lbs. (2,520 kg). Such hammers perform in an impact class of 5,000 ft.lbs (6,780 Joules) and will readily break a 1 meter boulder with a compressive strength of 20,000 to 30,000 psi (138 – 210 mpa).

TX & TXG EXTRA DUTY ROCK BREAKERS
These systems are intended for the heaviest jobs, serving large crushers in high production situations. The series carries hammers weighing up through 5,555 lbs. (2,520 kg). Such a hammer will break a 1 meter boulder with a compressive strength of 30,000 to 40,000 psi (210 -276 mpa). The TX & TXG Extra duty Rock Breakers are available with horizontal reach measurements exceeding 37 ft. (11 meters). TX boom systems are custom made, with variations suited to individual site requirements.

TR SERIES MINE DUTY
More than 30 years ago Tramac pioneered these “excavator type” systems. Mounted to a turn table base these units are constructed of massive boxed sectioned structures with an arched main boom section and tapered dipperstick. Some of the first units, delivered to the mines of Arizona and Nevada and the far north in Canada, are still in use after a much longer life than originally expected. Spare parts remain available and Tramac has been happy to participate in refurbishment. These units are used in large capacity gyratory crushers carrying hammers up through 13,000 lbs. (5,900 kg). Such a breaker will break a 2 meter boulder with a compressive strength of over 40,000 psi (280 mpa). TR booms are custom made, with variations that respond to individual site requirements. With today’s large haul trucks and dump pockets a Rock Breaker with this kind of horizontal coverage (+20 meters) is often necessary.
